Posted on 15. Oct, 2008 by in Uncategorized

How will the credit crunch affect the startup space? Not much, says Tim Draper, managing director of the VC-firm Draper Fisher Jurvetson. Tim Draper is attending the Red Herring Etre Conference in Stockholm.

In this podcast Tim also talks about what makes him bring out his check book, what technologies he believes will have a huge impact in the future and why he sent his own DNA out in space.

Tim also explains what made him invest in Skype. And he reveals that he originally backed another idea, but the Skype founders called him up after a few months and told him they had changed their business plan into what we today know as Skype.
